Antelope is a graceful family of mammals that include the gazelle, wildebeest, and impala. They are plentiful in Africa and Asia, preferring open areas to romp in and graze on. Antelope is swift and runs with its herd to safer ground when a predator, such as a lion or cheetah threatens it. It will graze on tall golden and green shafts of grass in the sun and moves with its herd to new sources of food. Antelope is lean with strong legs, able to spring forward and leap over obstacles in its path.
