Mouse
The mouse is a tiny rodent that can invade your house when it is forced to flee a field or wetland,
its normal habitat. In the wild, mice eat plants and small insects. In your home they can get into
almost anything. Like squirrels, they store a lot of food for winter. They are a common food for
larger animals to prey upon. Mice are usually black, brown, gray, and white with big ears and a hairless
tail. A female mouse can have about 12-48 babies a year. Mice are more active in the night than in the
day. |
